Watford Chess Club meets every Tuesday Evening at The Town and Country Club,
Rosslyn Road, Watford. We run 5 teams in the Hertfordshire Chess Association league, and also hold various internal
events through the year.
This year we have two teams in Division 1, one each in divisions 2 and 4 with the 5th team in division
6.
The Club has a friendly informal atmosphere, and the venue has a bar selling
good beer at low prices. We cater for all abilities, from novice to master, so if you are in the area, why not
pop in to visit?
There is free parking at the venue. Please be aware that the barrier is raised between
7-30 and 8 pm. If you arrive outside these times you can still use the car-park, by borrowing the card from the bar manager.
